Update: Law enforcement officials have told the Los Angeles Times that Jackson is in a coma.
The Los Angeles Times is reporting that singer Michael Jackson was rushed to UCLA Medical Center this afternoon by paramedics.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call at Jackson's current LA residence at approximately 12:26PM this afternoon, and Jackson was not breathing when they arrived. Some reports are saying that Jackson was in cardiac arrest.
According to the LAFD spokesman, the paramedics performed CPR and brought him to the hospital. Jackson's mother and brothers are said to be heading to UCLA to be with the ailing performer.
Formerly dubbed the "King of Pop," Jackson has been rehearsing for a series of 50 sold-out shows at the O2 area in London. Not long ago, it had been announced that additional tickets for certain concert dates were being released for to the public for purchase and that Jackson was training for former Incredible Hulk actor Lou Ferrigno to build up his strength and endurance for the shows.
