If you’ve always cherished a secret yearning to own the mansion that Angel lived in on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, then you’re in luck!
After undergoing years of restoration and stabilization work, the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Ennis House is up for sale. Located in the Los Angeles hills, the house’s distinctive architectural style led to it being used as a location for episodes of Buffy and Twin Peaks, as well as films such as Bladerunner and the original House on Haunted Hill.
The foundation that is currently entrusted with the landmark’s care believes that Ennis House is more likely to be restored and preserved if it is in the hands of a private owner. Nearby neighbors had also argued against opening the house to the public as a tourist location, citing traffic and congestion concerns.
Ennis House comes with a $15 million price tag and is said to need another $5-7 million in preservation work. [Reuters via Yahoo! News]
