The BBC reports that actor David Carradine, 72, was found dead in a Bangkok hotel room by a hotel maid. According to Thai police, the maid found Carradine in a wardrobe with a rope around his neck and body on Thursday morning. While these reports suggest suicide, his personal manager Chuck Binder told WABC in New York that he believes Carradine died of natural causes, citing that the actor had been in great spirits.
Carradine, who was part of an acting family including his father and brothers, is most famous for his role in the TV show Kung Fu and more recently as the title character in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill (Vols. 1 and 2).

UPDATE: Additional details about the placement of the ropes has been released by Bangkok police and may point to an accidental death. An autopsy was completed Friday, but results have not yet been released. [Associated Press via Yahoo! News]
