This Week's Music (June 9, 2009)

Welcome back to the weekly new music roundup, where I will try highlighting some of tomorrow's interesting/major music releases.

Mos Def returns with The Ecstatic, while The Black Eyed Peas also come back with The E.N.D. Sonic Youth will release The Eternal (on Matador). And Placebo are also back with a new album, though you can buy a limited edition box set (import) of their previous material.

Lots of reissues this time around, and a good chunk happen to be albums by The Rolling Stones. There's a new Woodstock blu-ray DVD set out, and British Sea Power's soundtrack to the 1930s film Man of Aran will be available to those who are interested.

Watch the video for Kasabian's "Fire," from their new album West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum (that's a mouthful!), and check out the rest of some of this week's releases below.
