There have been some DVD rumors floating around about MTV's Daria, the animated series centering around a character originally featured on Beavis and Butthead. The show was popular when it aired, but full seasons of the show have never made it to DVD (this is likely a music licensing issue).But TVShowsonDVD.com reports that Daria could be on DVD by next year. Marty Day — who runs Blast-O-Rama.com — emailed TVShowsonDVD.com after seeing a brief commercial for Daria while watching MTV's The State on DVD.
Day's email reads:
"Popped in the first disc, and wouldn't you know it, the DVD starts with an ad promoting Daria hitting DVD in 2010."
Day also sent a screencap of the ad in as proof. This is definitely an exciting time for Daria fans! [TVShowsonDVD.com]
