This Week's Music (May 26, 2009)

After taking some time out during the Memorial Day weekend, we're back to our regularly scheduled program with this week's edition of my weekly new music round-up, where I'll try highlighting some of the major/interesting new releases out today. This is a slightly shorter list due to time constraints, so if you feel I've missed anything significant, please feel free to point it out!

Hard copies of Phoenix's Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix are out today, after the album was released via North American iTunes on May 12. Marilyn Manson has also returned (no comment), and there are some reissues of classic albums by Miles Davis and Charles Mingus.

Grizzly Bear have the big (indie) release of the week with Veckatimest, which is receiving a lot of love from various reviewers. Watch the slightly strange video for their song "Two Weeks" (which is a beautiful composition) below:
