Las Vegas Strip veteran Danny Gans died early Friday at the age of 52. As of this posting, the cause of death is unknown.
The entertainer and celebrity impressionist had just begun five-year headlining gig in February at Steve Wynn's Wynn Las Vegas hotel and casino. For 11 years, Gans had been the headliner at the Mirage.
Gans was voted Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year 11 years in a row by Las Vegas Review-Journal readers. He was not well known outside of Vegas, but his face was familiar to many who visited the city and saw Gans' show touted on the marquee outside of the Mirage. [AFP via Yahoo! News]
