- David Slade (Hard Candy, 30 Days of Night) has signed on to direct The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the third film in the blockbuster franchise. Eclipse is slated for a June 30, 2010 release date. [Variety]
- Vanessa Hudgens will star in Beastly, one of the first projects from CBS Films. The flick is an updated Beauty and the Beast story set in Manhattan and shooting is expected to begin in summer 2009.
